Dear President Obama:
On March 8, 2009, I wrote the enclosed letter to your Secretary of Labor, Hilda Solis. I then received the letter, dated March 31, 2009, from Andrew R. Davis, Chief, Division of Interpretations and Standards.
This inadequate bureaucratic response is not what I expected from your administration. Perhaps Secretary Solis never saw my letter; however, after the April 6th New York Times editorial I expected a meaningful response.
To date, nothing. Again, any just labor law reform must include farmworkers and domestics. If not now, when?
Yours truly,
Jerry Cohen
